Technical Presentation

High Purity: current challenges in the process chain

Unlike classic component cleaning, high purity cleaning is not about cleaning off large amounts of production residue (e.g. several liters of oil per batch or several kilograms of chips). Rather, high purity cleaning focuses on removing the slightest residual contamination and then keeping the cleaned surfaces clean and preserving them. In addition, the creation of high purity surfaces is not just the task of cleaning. The creation of high purity surfaces begins with the design and manufacture of the components. This brings with it some familiar and some new challenges for cleaning technology and the entire process chain, which will be highlighted in the lecture.
